Trunk or Treat 2009

Christian was a 'clone trooper' from Star Wars this year. A fairly popular costume. I lost count of how many other troopers we saw last night. :) He was really excited that he got to sit and hand out Matt and Jayna's candy while they took Emmalyn and Shaylin trick-or-treating. It made him feel really grown up.


Jessica was in heaven with all the chocolate cupcakes that were available at the cake walk. She never did the cake walk, though, she just walked up and took a cupcake whenever she wanted one. Then she would eat it and come over to me and say "cheese" for me to take a picture. She was very proud of her messy face.


It's always nice to get a picture of Andy and I together. But Justin is cracking me up! His eyes look so big to me in this picture. It must have been because of the flash in the dark. :)


Jessica was an ASU cheerleader this year. Here she is enjoying a sucker. She started to trick-or-treat but as soon as she had a piece of candy in each hand she was done. And I mean, DONE. I kept trying to show her that she had a bag to hold more candy, but all she wanted to do was sit and eat the candy she already had.


Declan was a 'skeleton man' this year. This was the calmest picture I took of him all night! He is definitely showing his personality. :) In addition to the skeleton shirt he was wearing 'skeleton' socks and he had glow-in-the-dark 'skeleton' gloves too.

We had a great time at the trunk-or-treat this year! We enjoyed sitting by Matt and Jayna, the Wilson family and the Dennison family. Afterwards, we came home and visited with several neighbors before turning out the lights and calling it a night.

The kids were so worn out, they ALL slept in until 8 am this morning. Crazy!
