Cocktails

Yesterday:

Christian - "Mom, what's a cocktail?"
Me - "Um..."
Christian - "Like a fruit cocktail? It's on the lunch menu."
Me - "Oh, it means a mixture - like several different fruits mixed together. It's probably peaches, pears, cherries and pineapple, or something like that."
Christian - "Ok"

Today:

Me - "What did you have for hot lunch today Christian?"
Christian - "Oh, a hot dog on whole wheat bread."
Me - "Anything else?"
Christian - "Yeah, I had a vegetable cocktail."
Me - "You mean some mixed vegetables?"
Christian - "Yeah, a vegetable cocktail!"
