Record Heat

Yesterday we set a record with a high temperature of 96 degrees. In NOVEMBER. Although in the mornings when I walk Christian to school the temp is still in the fifties. So I have been getting the kids dressed twice for the last few days, and probably will for at least the rest of the week. First thing in the morning, we get dressed in long pants, warm shirts, and jackets. Sometimes even hats and gloves to walk to school. Then by the time we pick Christian up from school we are in t-shirts and shorts and it is HOT. :)

So here are some pictures I took of Jessica today in her 'afternoon' outfit. It's one of the new outfits she just got for her birthday. I love dressing her up in purple or pink.

She is very proud of herself for finding an unattended chair in the kitchen to climb on. (We usually leave all the chairs in the family room unless we are actually eating.)

So how hot (or cold) is it in your part of the country, wherever you are?
