Time to catch up on a few things since it's been a little while since I posted. Becca, Christian, Declan, and Jessica are living it up in Utah right now. The weather has been MUCH cooler. We've been seeing highs of about 90-91 degrees, while back home we've heard the highs have been about 113-114 degrees. HOT HOT HOT.
Our boys will tell you one of the most exciting things about this trip is that we got to fly in style on the "Shamu" airplane on our way up to Utah.
Andy delivered us right to the gate. If you look very carefully, you can see the "Shamu" airplane behind us. This picture does not show you that I was pretty sick for a few days before we left and still wasn't feeling that great. The boys were so excited to fly, it was like pulling teeth to get them to stand still for a photo. They have both flown before, but Declan is young enough not to remember the last time. This was Jessica's first flight.
Declan had thrown up the day before we left but perked up and was acting just fine before we left so it was all systems go - then we made it to Utah and woke up the next morning to Christian vomiting. He felt pretty sick for awhile, (I felt so bad for him, he had been counting down the days for so long for this trip, but then didn't feel well enough to do anything) but he has recovered! Yeah! So the next day after he felt better we immediately went to the dinosaur museum. We go every year when we come up and always have a great time. Usually, we go in the morning before the kids take their naps, but this time we waited until later in the day to make sure Christian was all better. We have decided that it is the best time to go, it is much less crowded.
I still remember the first time we went. When we found the 'erosion table' (a VERY LARGE sand and water table) about halfway through Andy said something to the effect of "why did we waste our time on the first half of the musuem?" (not really what he said, and of the course the whole museum is great, but my Baker boys LOVE mud!) When we called Andy and told him we were on the way to the museum he said "Oh, the sand and water table! I wish I were there! Take lots of pictures for me!" Knowing him, he meant he wished he was there to play with the kids, and that he wanted pics of them playing, not strictly pics of just the table :)
So here's a pic of the huge dam they made so Andy can see it. (Hi Honey! We miss you, and love you!)

So glad everyone is feeling better. The dinosaur museum looks like fun. You are amazing to take three kids on a plane by yourself. Enjoy the great weather. It is miserable hot here.
