Okay, this is for all our family members out there that can hardly wait to see the pictures from Christian's VERY LAST DAY of kindergarten. They had a short musical program at 8:30 this morning. Here's a picture of the stage before the kids came in. The sign says 'We bloomed in Kindergarten'.
Not the best picture ever, but the best one I was able to get of Christian on the stage. (You can click on any picture on the blog to see it larger)
After the singing, everyone headed outside to the kindergarten ramada for drinks and snacks. Here's a better picture of Christian. The green handprint on the shirt is his, the others belong to kids from his class.
Here is Christian with his teacher, Mrs. Ibarra. Note his green handprint on her shirt too. Students just had a few handprints on their shirts but the teachers had every students handprint covering the front and back of their shirts. He has loved having Mrs. Ibarra for his kindergarten teacher. She was gone for most of April and May when she had her baby but she made sure to come back for the end of the school year.
And here's the proud mom! I am so grateful to be Christian's mommy! Words cannot describe how fabulous he is! When we were driving home I said I couldn't believe that he is a first grader now and he said "Mom, I will not be in first grade until NEXT YEAR!" Yes, but NEXT YEAR starts in just TWO MONTHS. We are planning to enjoy every minute of our too-short summer vacation. And he is very, very excited that his bedtime will be an hour later during the summer.

Thanks for sharing pics of the last day of school. It's hard to believe that Christian is done with kindergarten already. I remember when he was a baby. Kids grow up so fast.
Hope things are going well for the Baker family. Scotty and I were discussing the other night how we need to get together soon. Maybe Andy and Scotty can make plans like they usually do. :)
Have a great weekend!
We are so proud of Christian! That is crazy that he will be in first grade...geeze. Cute pictures of his graduation.
Thanks for the cute pictures - you got some great shots of the last day of school - first grade already - time flies!!
