Beware of Snake

As previously mentioned, Christian had to do a report on a zoo animal and he chose the rattlesnake. Here is the finished project. Its habitat is simply a box of rocks. :) For the actual snake we took one of Andy's socks and stuffed it. In the tail we inserted a pack of Tic Tacs which rattle quite convincingly. Then Christian drew scales on a piece of paper that we wrapped around the snake body and we finished it off with two buttons for eyes. He also wrote a report with different facts about rattlesnakes. We checked out several books from the library to help with that portion and we learned several new things about rattlers. They bear live young, and they are excellent swimmers.
